On the auspicious occasion of Holla Mahalla celebrations at Takht Shri Keshgarh Sahib, Shri Anandpur sahib thousands of devotees were screened for free oral health check camp by team of doctors from Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College and Hospital, Ludhiana.Dr.NavdeepKaur, Professor and Head of Dept. of Public Health Dentistry headed the camp with Dr. Pooja, Dr.Preetinder Singh Mokha and other team of doctors. The two day camp comprised of free dental check-up, oral health screening and free medicines were also given to the general public
In a first of its kind of screening and oral health camp on the auspicious occasion, it was a success at making people understand the importance of good oral health.
Dr.NavdeepKaur, emphasized the need of oral health awareness and check-up camps for public for making them understand the need for oral prophylaxis, root canal treatment, complete dentures and implants.
This initiative was under the auspices of the Chairman, Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College and Hospital, Ludhiana, Bhai Anhad Raj Singh ji, who emphasized the need for such oral health awareness, screening and check-up in such large religious gatherings for the benefit of mankind.
